LCD Replacement Instructions

for the COATS IBS 2000

1. Turn the balancer off, and disconnect the power

cord from the power source.

2. Remove the 4 nuts holding the touch panel in

the plastic pod.

3. Disconnect the touch panel from the main bal-

ancer wiring loom.

4. Disconnect the LCD’s cable and wires from the

main printed circuit board (PCB).

5. Remove the LCD display.

6. Install the new LCD display with the O-rings

provided. Position the O-rings between the LCD cir-

cuit board and the touch panel standoffs. Make cer-

tain the arrow on the LCD circuit board points

towards the top of the touch panel. Do not over-

tighten the mounting screws.

7. Reconnect the LCD’s cable and wires to the

main PCB.

8. Reconnect the touch panel to the main wiring

loom.

9. Reinstall the touch panel in to the plastic pod.

10. Reconnect the balancer to the power source,

turn the balancer on, and check for proper LCD oper-

ation.
